Instrumental Music Workshop

Dust off that old fiddle, concertina, flute, recorder, clarinet and come to play some traditional folk song and dance tunes at the Chapel on Saturday 30th Jan. We will do a mix of playing, cobbling together tunes out of call and response fragments, or out of scales and arpeggios etc etc. Music notation is not used. Starting easy at 12 for an hour, followed by a snack lunch, then getting braver and winding up at 2.30. Even the beginner with three notes can participate in the first session; as a rough guide you'll need your scales of G and D major to get the most out of the second half, but there will always be the option of playing a simple accompanying part. 
We might even do a dance - that's what the music is for after all!
